Replace Torn Screen Before the Next Down
Contaminants passing through a hole in the screen can cause plugged shower nozzles and produce off quality product. Before this design improvement, mills were forced to live with torn screens and the headaches they cause. This latest technology allows for a screen change out on the fly.
Save Labor on Screen Replacement
Replacing a gravity strainer screen can take 2-3 people anywhere from 2-6 hours or more. This can save 4-16 man-hours of labor.
Eliminate Gasket Under Sieve Assembly
The gasket is impossible to inspect with the sieve assembly in place. If it's worn or missing, the operator won't know until the sieve assembly is removed or the filtrate is contaminated. The inflatable seal traps the "Slip-On" screen between the tank wall and the seal preventing contaminants from reaching the accepts.
