UniSlide™ Doctor Blade Holder

The patented Kadant UniSlide holder offers a valuable time-saving alternative to traditional KF style blade holders.
Manufactured for general purpose application, the UniSlide blade holder is ideal for a wide range of wet and dry end applications. The UniSlide accepts all Kadant doctor blade materials and thicknesses, and the corrosion resistant composite material makes its less susceptible to acids and chemicals.

The innovative design incorporates the UniTrak holder removal system, and saves time and effort when it comes to cleaning or replacing the blade holder. With the UniTrak T-Rail mounting system, wrenches, cranes, and scaffolding are not required to remove the holder from the machine. An optional locking feature aids installation and removal by assuring the new or cleaned holder is slid into the exact same position it was removed from.

Besides being only a fraction of the cost of traditional metal blade holders, the easy replacement offers a significant time and labor savings. A single locking screw is all that is removed in order to slide the UniSlide holder from the doctor. This eliminates the need to drill out mounting screws that have been stripped or have heads that are sheared away.
